·   Service clients’ safety needs by writing safety policies, training employees for Confined Space, Lockout/ Tagout, Forklift, Material Safety Data Sheets and how to keep up their OSHA 300 log.

·   Develop area safety audits/ inspections and training clients’ employees on what to look for during an inspection and set up mock audit areas with several safety issues in the area.

·   Organized Hazmat Emergency Response Team training. Supervised training on Ammonia release rescue scenarios, Chlorine release rescue scenarios. Conducted training scenarios every quarter.

·   Completed a Confined Space re-evaluation of 105 spaces.

·   As a result of detailed work the plant received 80 percent higher score on our yearly corporate audit.

2006 – 2008 Amy’s Kitchen, White City, OR

·   Worked with several contractors on safety issues while the plant was still under construction.

·   Evaluated and implemented new safety policies and procedures for 5 departments.

·   Created and trained a safety team to conduct safety inspections and accident investigations as required by State law.

·   Served on the Oregon State Workers Compensation Board of Review resulting in a savings $100,000.00 in workers compensation over a 3 year period.

·   Managed workers compensation and kept the OSHA 300 log up to date. Built relationship with Workers Compensation doctors so employees could come back to work on light duty.
